Graham Hiemstra

Graham Hiemstra is a writer, editor, and photographer with 15 years experience covering men's style, design, architecture, and outdoor gear. More recently he's become interested in saunas and DIY building as well. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Graham has lived in New York City since 2011.

Prior to founding Field Mag, he held editor positions at Hearst Digital Media and Cool Hunting, and has earned bylines in Esquire, Complex, Highsnobiety, among many others. His photography and writing have been featured in a number of hardcover books covering the modern outdoor lifestyle and he has sat as an outdoor lifestyle expert on many industry panels as well.

Graham holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Oregon.
