Gramicci x And Wander Collab Capsule Drops Gorpcore Staples

Gramicci and and wander, Japanese titans of outdoorsy streetwear, occupy high positions within the rankings of Gorpcore. When we caught word of the two coming together for a spring collaboration, we nearly did a spit-take from our titanium vacuum-insulated coffee mugs. Dramatics and article-plugging aside, we’re pretty pumped about the Gramicci x and wander 10-piece collection of shirts, climbing pants, and baggage (prices range from $60 to $320) melding together the styles from two of our most beloved brands in the game.

Gramicci x and wander will be available from 6 March 2024 in select stores in Asia and soon via gramicci.com for US customers. We will update this article when the collection drops online.

The patchwork pieces shine as the stars of the apparel selection, combining a water-repellent ripstop with a nylon taffeta to contrast materials and color in the multi-toned purple colorway. The Patchwork Wind Hoodie, Tee, Short, and Cap also come in blacked-out variants for fans of a more tame palette.

While decidedly less outdoorsy-feeling, the special Denim Baggy Pants deliver some low-key heat by upgrading Gramicci’s popular Equipment Pant with a special denim material dyed in Japan with indigo and sulfur. An integrated belt emerges from the front of the pant’s waist with alternating brand logos, as one would expect from two brands who love an integrated belt.

Accessories from the set include several five-panel hats and bucket caps, but more prominently feature matching patchwork bags: a 43-liter boston bag, a 22-liter dual-carry totepack, and a chalk bag that recalls Gramicci’s climbing roots in Yosemite. The same tandem logo-printed straps from pant belts reappear in each bag’s structural webbing on both higher-volume bags.

Hike over to the Gramicci site or your favorite Gorpcore dealer to pick up pieces from the Gramicci x and wander collaboration. We’re certain some other fun collabs from Gramicci will pop up later this year, but this one’s gotta be the gem of 2024’s spring and summer season.
