He spends most of his time training for his next ultramarathon, exploring trails and peaks of the Angeles National Forest, and venturing up and down California. When he's not running, he's tinkering with his '90s mountain bike, reading Jon Krakauer, or jotting down thoughts for his newsletter, Vert.
