Sarah Attar is a professional photographer, trail guide, and former professional runner with a passion for documenting landscapes and the people that move through them. In addition to guiding running retreats in Yosemite National Park, she photographs ultra races and freelances as a location scout for productions in the Eastern Sierra, where she is based.

Prior to becoming a full-time photographer, Sarah was a professional runner for more than a decade, training with the Mammoth Track Club in Mammoth Lakes, CA and competing in two Olympic Games. Most notably, she competed as Saudi Arabia's first female Olympic runner in the 2012 London Olympics. And again in the 2016 Olympic marathon in Rio de Janeiro

She graduated with honors from Pepperdine University in 2014 with a degree in art. She has since exhibited art internationally and continues to explore creative pursuits and execute various freelance design projects.
