Outlier’s tendency towards innovative materials and minimalist designs has long made the NYC-based brand a low key fav at TF HQ. Though it’s been a minute the recent snowstorm to hit our native New York inspired us to dig into their latest offering list. And low and behold, the Funnelneck Fleece was there, waiting for a shout out.

The double-faced wool fleece is defined—quite literally—by its exaggerated neck, featuring a chunky knit outer and soft, brushed wool inner made in NYC of Italian-knit Strongwool Fleece. The unique design only adds to the cozy nature of the merino layer. A single chest pocket is hidden under the partial storm flap, while two usual hand warming pockets flank the sides.

It’s perfectly simple, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
