The question at hand was, just how much adventure can one really have in a single weekend? To prove the answer is "however much you want," pro downhill mountain biker Joey Schusler, van-based filmmaker Thomas Woodson, and photographer Max Lowe recently packed up and flew to Mexico with sights set on climbing and skiing North America's 3rd tallest peak, Pico de Orizaba. To make the whole thing a bit more realistic—after all, not everyone is a professional athlete or adventurer—they snagged long time friend and nine-to-fiver Karl Thompson to act as the real variable in the experiment.

But as they say, it's not an adventure till something goes wrong. And as you'll see in "55 Hours in Mexico," the trip quickly turns into an adventure of a lifetime.
