For more years than we can count on one hand we’ve been enchanted by Outlier’s ability to blend minimalist silhouettes, technical fabrics, and supreme design direction in every piece that bares the label. Plus the ongoing collaboration with photographer (and Yonder Journal co-founder) Emiliano Granado only elevates the already eye-catching apparel. Speaking of, the latest to demand our attention is “Experiment 60 — Shelter from the Storm,” a stealth weatherproof field jacket that’s as distinct in design as it is versatile.

Made of a high tenacity rain cloth fabric—a heavyweight, hyper durable take on Polartec’s celebrated Neoshell fabric—that’s both extremely waterproof and breathable, the limited-edition jacket is capable of keeping you dry even in the most extreme weather and wear conditions.

Details include Japanese-made ratchet cuffs, two-way Uretek front zipper and half-length side zippers for ventilation, multiple interior pockets, plus a high collar, adjustable hood, and storm flap for keeping the elements out.

When it comes to making attractive apparel that’s ergonomically designed and assembled with top tier technical fabrics, Outlier has few peers. (Though admittedly if the Goth Ninja aesthetic doesn’t align with your personal brand you may be SOL here.)
