By name Red Wing is a household name. It’s synonymous with quality, American-made workwear. And perhaps the biggest beneficiary of the 2000s era heritage movement in menswear. And though the glory days of workwear are behind us, the urge to invest in domestically produced products remains, as does a spark of excitement something so unequivocally American as this comes around. We’re talking about the new, limited-edition 8884 Mossy Oak Moc Boot, of course. They might as well come packed with fireworks and a baby bald eagle for each buyer to rear as their own personal defender of freedom.

Jokes aside, these boots have been on our radar for the better part of a year now, so we’re excited to share the news at long last. Produced in limited numbers, the 6-inch leather boots with Goodyear welt will be sold at a select number of retailers in the US (and Japan, we’re willing to bet). Though Real Tree® is our camouflage of choice, the use of patented Mossy Oak® is both clever and effective, depicting fall leaves reminiscent of those found in the boot-makers native southern Minnesota.

Blend in in the woods, and stand out in the city. Either way, these badboy boots are sure to last a lifetime, and then some.
