In the North Caucasus region of Southern Russia, the Black Sea coast offers many beautiful, and empty campsites. If you want to go to the sea for a couple of days and not spend money, then camping here is a great option. Especially since sea camping is not a very popular type of recreation in Russia.

In every campground on the Black Sea the nature and the shore are very different. In one there can be a spiny forest with a rocky beach of black rocks, and if you travel 30 kilometers away you can get to a meadow with tall pine trees and a white rocky shore, which is the case with the Blue Abyss, a favorite.

Either way, the beaches are sure to be empt. You can spend a whole day outdoors and see other people only two or three times. It could be a nudists family or the old man with a dog—you never really know what you’ll get.
